WRC’s summer general meeting will be next Sunday, June 30th, at Working Draft Beer Company starting at 2 pm. The purpose of the meeting is elections for the following club positions:

President, First Vice President, Second Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, Financial Officer, Match Secretary, and two Men at Large. More info on the positions below.

If you are interested in running, but are unable to attend please let me know.

The officers of the club shall be full or social members of the club and shall be the following:
The president of the club shall be the chief officer of the club and the chairman of the Board of Directors for his full term of office. In addition he shall preside at any general or special meeting of the club.
The first vice­ president of the club shall assume the duties of the president in his absence. In addition he shall be responsible for liaison of the club with all other rugby organizations.
The second vice ­president of the club shall assume the duties of the president in the absence of both the president and the first vice­ president. In addition he shall be responsible for all affairs internal to the club. It is to be recognized that the duties of the two vice­ presidents may overlap and in such cases their responsibility shall be joint.
The secretary of the club shall record all business and transactions of the Board of Directors. He shall be responsible for posting minutes of all Board of Directors meetings at some designated posting place.
The treasurer of the club shall give charge and custody of and be responsible for all funds of the club. The collection of dues, deposits and disbursement of funds and exhibition and auditing of accounts shall be as directed by the Board of Directors.
The financial officer of the club shall be responsible for raising funds for the club. Any funds raised by him shall be turned over to the treasurer.
The match secretary of the club shall be responsible for scheduling all matches to be played by the club. The match secretary shall submit a confirmed schedule of a season to the Board of Directors at least two weeks prior to the general meeting, which precedes the opening of that season.

Membership. The membership of the Board of Directors shall be all of the officers defined in Article IV and two additional members who shall be elected at the annual summer meeting.
