Rugby fam!
Id love to extend to you an invitation to a once in a lifetime event:
Wanna go ride bikes?
We currently don’t have rugby on June 12th. What better way to spend a non match day Saturday than a relaxing bike ride with friends? Hopefully a lot of friends, wearing WRC/MUR gear, tossing a ball around at a few choice parks and having a good time. Who knows, a game of touch might even break out near the lake?!

As long as we’re already up to no good and looking sharp might as well chat it up with anyone interested or at least willing to listen about rugby, upcoming games, the clubhouse, yada yada yada.

For those of age it is legal and encouraged by me to BYOBs in Madison City Parks as long as there’s no glass and you clean up after yourselves. As this will be an event in the public eye it is strongly encouraged to have a great time while representing the club and rugby community appropriately. 😎
Homies are encouraged to attend any or all of the day. Don’t like to bike? Meet us at one of the park stops!

A more nailed down itinerary for the day will be let out closer to the event. A rough draft that is wide open to suggestions is as follows:
-launch from Olbrich Park at noon
-rip an easy ride with a rough timeline to a few near east/downtown parks
-toss the dinosaur egg at a larger park (Yahara, McPike, Brittingham)
-potential to stop at a pub or two??? 🤔
-return before dark
